A letter by Vered, to share her creativity with us.
« My name is Vered and I live in Israel, in a small rural community. We have a wonderful view and the sunsets are gorgeous. In Israel, the summer is long and hot. I prefer the Israeli winter.
Living here it’s not always easy, but there is an extra special something around me that makes me know that this will always be my home.

Israel is a multicultural country with many influences that inspire the designs reflected in my jewelry. I've also been fortunate enough to have traveled in many places around the globe, I visited the Far East, Japan, Vietnam, China and Thailand; also South America, where I visited Guatemala, Mexico and Belize.
My aesthetic sense is influenced by these experiences.
I'm still in a continuous research for new cultures and inspiration, I hope someday to incorporate my work into an extended world tour with my family.
I’m not one of those people who always knew from the very first moment that creativity was a inseparable part of my essence. Mine was a journey of self discovery which coincided with the birth of my daughter, my first born.
I completed my university studies and I started to work as an HR manager. At that time, the company for which I worked was changing and shortly after that, it closed and so I stopped working.
After my daughter was born 8 years ago, I started creating with various different artistic disciplines and when by chance I tried jewelry, I discovered that it was a “true love”. So, I’ve been making jewelry ever since. That was a great period in my artistic life: I decided to combine motherhood and creativity, that combination has been very successful for me, even after my son joined the voyage two years later.
After my daughter was born 8 years ago, I started creating with various different artistic disciplines and when by chance I tried jewelry, I discovered that it was a “true love”. So, I’ve been making jewelry ever since. That was a great period in my artistic life: I decided to combine motherhood and creativity, that combination has been very successful for me, even after my son joined the voyage two years later.
We all benefit from this arrangement and I know that it’s a great privilege to be able to wake up in the morning and do what I love best.
From my perspective, when I’m creating, I’m in the most beautiful place where I can be, and this is a great blessing. My entire family is a big part of the process, my creations and many of my ideas and inspirations are drawn from my children. My husband and I often go to visit exhibitions and museums and I feel that many of my ideas come to me after these visits.
I use a memory of an experience with a picture in my mind and ideas from other influences which I draw upon to inspire my designs. It may seem funny, but a lot of my most creative time happens just before I fall asleep. I visualize projects I'd like to work on and then create them virtually in my mind. I keep an extra sketchbook on my night table just for capturing these moments of inspiration.
I think fashion is the way to be yourself in a specific time period. It’s not only what showcase is in the shops but also how we mix and match the items and the other accessories we choose to add.
